Specimen sizes range from 12 to 18 mm. The wings are very long, the hind wings much longer than the front ones. Ovipositor short and broad, perpendicularly curved below.

Description
It occurs mainly in bushy lawns. Quite common in warm places. Females lay flat eggs with a ovipositor in the edge of the leaf, which they have previously bitten, so that an opening is formed.
