Dryopteris cristata is a species of fern.

Description

Fruiting leaves are 30 to 60 cm long, sterile 15 to 30 cm. The leaf surface is narrowly elongated, slightly narrowed at the base. The leaf stalk is thin, brittle, rarely sown with scales, at least half as long as the leaf surface. Segments serrated, often with the underside facing upwards. Kidney veils leathery. It grows in forest swamps and on peat soils from the lowlands to the Montana belt.
