Description
Very similar to the Arctium lappa, from which it is distinguished by the following signs: the sheath leaves are strongly cobwebby to woolly hairy, often with a straight or only slightly hooked tip at the top - the leaf core is hollow in the middle (in Arctium lappa it is filled).
The leaves and young shoots are suitable for cooking and salads.
