Description

Unblown shoots are laid down and rooted, flowering stems erect. Leaves leathery, evergreen, glabrous at the margin. It reproduces asexually, producing only exceptionally. It grows on humus soils in forests from the lowlands to the Montana belt. It is a medicinal plant. It is also grown as an ornamental plant.
