Description

The stem is wingedly rough and has grown in the upper part. Leaves broadly lanceolate, on the underside have pronounced veins, the lower leaves long-stalked, the upper sessile, elongated along the stem down. Flowers in dense raceme, corolla tubular bell-shaped, 2 times longer than the calyx. It appears in wet meadows, in ditches, along rivers, in moist habitats in light forests from the lowlands to the Montana belt. It is a medicinal plant used for tea in diseases of the respiratory, gastric, circulatory, compresses for bone fractures, chronic joint diseases and inflammation of wounds.
