Description

It grows to a height of 50 to 150 cm. It has a short, creeping rhizome. All leaves are feathery. The wreath is 4 to 6 mm long. It is an Eastern European species with several subspecies that differ in leaf shape and ecological requirements. It grows from the lowlands to the Montana belt, in moist to dry forests, in meadows, among shrubs on the banks. It is a medicinal plant and a fragrance. The root is used to relieve mild signs of mental overload and as an aid in relieving insomnia problems.
