Description
It can grow up to 2 m in height. Dried, it smells like quarin. Due to the high content of this toxin, they obtain rodent venom from this plant. The inflorescence has 30 to 40 flowers. Bare pods are stalked. It grows in warmer areas as a ruderal plant on cultivated soils and in vineyards. Useful in folk medicine. Preparations from the plant are used to prevent blood clots, relieve inflammation, and are also used for hemorrhoids and varicose veins. External preparations are used as a bath for inflammatory wounds and festering.
