Description
It grows up to 1 m in height. The stem is hollow, furrowed. Leaves alternate, lichopernate, with 4 to 8 pairs of lanceolate to elliptical leafleas. In the foliage of the upper leaves, a clustered inflorescence of blue-white, up to 1 cm large flowers develops. All anthers have grown. It grows in the lowlands and the ridge belt, among shrubs on the banks and in moist forests. It is a medicinal plant. The substance galegin lowers blood sugar.
