Description
It grows to a height of 30 to 130 cm. It has an upright, simple or overgrown stem. Leaves sessile, crosswise opposite, cordate base, veins hairy on underside. Inflorescence apparent spike with shortened 3- to 6-flower twigs. Calyx hairy, outer calyx teeth 2 times longer than inner. Common on banks and wet meadows from the lowlands to the Montana belt.
