Description
From the rhizome, which stretches above the ground, long underground stolons are driven, which take root in places. The plant has smooth stems that grow in small shrubs. The leaves are 2 to 4 cm long and heart-shaped, and are connected to the plant on long, smooth stalks. The edge of the leaves is serrated. The leaves, which sprout later from the stolons, are larger and kidney-shaped. Its first flowers are purple and have a strong scent, but they are not fertile. Other flowers are small and have almost completely colorless petals. These flowers are fertile.
