Description
It grows on meadows, forests, forest edges. It climbs on other plants with the help of a tendril at the end of its feathery compound leaves. Its even-feathered leaves consist of four to eight pairs of ovate leaflets that taper toward the top of the leaf. Pale purple to pink flowers are 12 to 15 mm long. They are grouped into two- to five-flowered short-stalked inflorescences developed in the foliage of the stem leaves. The fruits are 2 to 3 cm long pods, which are initially short-haired and bare when ripe. It is a common plant widespread throughout Slovenia.
