Description
It is a perennial, herbaceous flowering plant of the aster family. It has alternately lanceolate leaves arranged along the stem, which are divided into smaller lanceolate leaves with a serrated edge. The flowers are collected in yellow combs. It is a medicinal plant, but it has sometimes been used to trigger abortion in women.
