Description

From the rhizome grows a soft, straight stem overgrown with bristly hairs. The stem is leafy with 5 to 7 oblong ovate leaves overgrown with stiff hairs. Entire leaves quickly taper at the bottom into a short stalk. At the top of the stem about 10 stalked, cuminous flowers of bright yellow color form an inflorescence. The petals have grown into a tubular corolla 1.5 to 2 cm long. The wreaths are folded back. It is a common and widespread plant in Slovenia. It grows in forests, on forest edges, among bushes and in hedges.
