Description

The trunk is mighty and grows into a few lateral trunks, and the crawn is up to 20 and more meters wide. It is often found on moist soils. It grows mostly in mixed stands, less often in pure stands, such as in Kraków Forest and Slavonia. The flowers are insignificant, the males in drooping inflorescences, the fruit is an acorn. The crust is dark, deeply furrowed and does not fall off. The branches are usually very cramped.
