Description
As its name suggests, water chickweed are commonly found in moist forests, swampy meadows and water ditches. It is a plant from the clove family. The stem takes root in the lower part, and can be bare or protruding hairy. The leaves are lanceolate ovate and dark green. The flowers are white. It often thrives in larger stands.
