Description
It is found in meadows, forest borders and among bushes. It is an atypical representative of the clove family, as it differs from them in that the leaves have no sepals, the calyx leaves have grown into a tube that has protruding longitudinal ribs and the plant is not a wrapper. It is recognizable by its pink flowers. It has a hairy stem.
