Description
Mostly ground leaves are long-stemmed, once or twice triple-lobed, with a pleasant aromatic aroma and taste. It is listed in the family of carrot. It grows in gardens (difficult to eradicate), in meadows, on forest edges, along paths, among bushes.
Ground elder is a great type of wild vegetable that, in taste and importance, easily combines with cultivated vegetables, but most people do not know it or they don't know the plant. It was grown as a vegetable by the Romans, and it was used as a spinach and medicinal plant in the Middle Ages. The leaves of the nuts contain lots of vitamin C, provitamin A, best known for its high iron content. It also contains other minerals and trace elements, including copper, tin and boron.
